Two teenagers arrested for attacking Blizzard servers

The US federal authorities in Chicago have charged two teenagers for suspected “computer hackers for allegedly operating cyber-attack-for-hire websites ” (DDOS) on individuals and companies such as Blizzard Entertainment.

The 19 year old Dutch teenager BRADLEY JAN WILLEM VAN ROOY, from Leiden, the Netherlands and ZACHARY BUCHTA, 19, from Fallston, Md are charged with conspiring to cause damage to protected computers. The charges are a result of an international investigation towards groups as “Lizard Squad” and “PoodleCorp”.


Both teenagers conspired with other members around the world to traffick payment accounts that had been stolen from individuals in Illinois,US and elsewhere. But maybe the ugliest services they created is called, a website that enables customers to select random victims to receive harassing phone calls with the following message:

“better look over your [expletive] back because I don’t flying [expletive] if we have to burn your [expletive] house down, if we have to [expletive] track your [expletive] family down, we will [expletive] your [expletive] up [expletive].”

The conspiracy charge against the teenagers carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.
